Lampard Retires from Football
Chelsea star player, Frank Lampard has finally retired from football.
This was disclosed today on his Instagram page which according to him: "After 21 incredible years, I have decided that now is the right time to finish my career as a professional footballer."
Lampard has represented his country over 100 times and scored more than 300 career goals. He also gave his appreciation to his club Chelsea, for the opportunity given to him and the success they had managed to achieve together. He was grateful to the FA for the opportunity to study for his coaching qualifications and he looks forward to pursuing the off-field opportunities opened afterwards. He retired at the age of 38.
