Ghanian Lady Becomes First Black Female Neurosurgeon At US University

 A Ghanaian lady Nancy Abu-Bonsrah has made history in the United States after she became the first Black female Neurosurgeon at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine after 30 years.



 The prestigious program accepts just two to five residents, and is ranked second in the country. Among its most notable alumni is  Dr. Ben Carson, who is currently the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

 Nana who hails from Ghana lived there until the age of 15 and has been in Maryland for the past 11 years.

 Consequently, Nana would work in their Neurosurgery Department.
